Biblical Study Tours

Join Us!

Each year, we travel to one or more biblically significant parts of the world. We learn about, and walk in the footsteps of Jesus, the apostles, Old Testament heroes, and church leaders who have shaped the Christian world that we know today.

Among others, we've explored the countries of Israel, Turkey, Jordan and Italy, as well as many cities found in the book of Acts, the Epistles, and Revelation—such as Athens, Corinth, Ephesus, Rome, Patmos, Sardis and Laodicea. We've visited the ancient sites of Pompeii (Italy) and Petra (Jordan), and toured Egypt, the UK, Germany & Switzerland (Reformation Tours).

The Biblical Study Tours also feature great fellowship with believers from all over the world, as well as teaching, insights and perspectives from Douglas and various experts who assist in leading these tours. Each tour is educational, inspirational & emotionally bonding! Many who have taken part in one tour are eager participants on another.

Following are the next three tours.

TRAVEL ADVICE from Faith Ventures, in their useful article, "How Can I Prevent Lost Luggage?"

1. Use a Unique Luggage Tag: Attach a distinctive luggage tag to your bags with your name, phone number, and email address. Consider adding a unique identifier, such as a colorful ribbon or sticker, to make your luggage easily recognizable.
2. Double-Check Your Tags: Ensure the airline's luggage tag matches your destination. Mistakes can happen, so a quick check can prevent your bag from ending up in the wrong place.
3. Keep a Packing List: Maintain a list of the items packed in each bag. This can help you quickly identify missing items if your luggage is delayed or lost and can be useful when filing a claim with your travel insurance.
4. Arrive Early: Give yourself plenty of time at the airport to check in and drop off your luggage. Rushed handling can increase the likelihood of misplaced bags.
5. Avoid Tight Connections: When booking flights, try to avoid tight layovers. A short connection increases the risk of your luggage not making it onto your next flight.
6. Use GPS Trackers: Consider placing a small GPS tracker in your luggage. These devices can help you locate your bag if it goes missing and can provide peace of mind during your travels.
7. Secure Your Luggage: Use locks or zip ties to secure your bags. This can deter theft and prevent your luggage from accidentally opening during transit.
8. Pack Essentials in Your Carry-On: Always pack essential items, such as medications, a change of clothes, and important documents, in your carry-on bag. This ensures you have necessities on hand if your checked luggage is delayed.
9. Photograph Your Luggage: Take photos of your bags and their contents before you travel. In the event your luggage is lost, these photos can be helpful for identification and when making an insurance claim.
10. Label Inside and Out: Place a label with your contact information inside your luggage in case the external tags are lost or damaged.

By taking these proactive steps, you can minimize the risk of lost luggage and enjoy a worry-free travel experience. If you do encounter any issues, remember that your travel insurance policy is here to help. Please don't hesitate to contact us for assistance with any claims or questions.
